About Truro

Cornwall’s one and only city, Truro once thrived as a river port and the elegant Georgian town houses are a lovely backdrop to a still thriving Cornish centre – now dominated by the magnificent gothic revival cathedral which is well worth a visit. Around the cathedral, you will find historic back streets that are home to many independent traders. There are also twice weekly farmers markets as well as a thriving yearlong festival programme. The City of Lights and Victorian Christmas Market are highlights for us – but explore and take your pick!
